I research, talk to users and analyze data to understand the problem before proposing a solution. It isn’t about researching to tick a box, but about knowing where it makes sense to step in.

I define flows, design interfaces and build prototypes to test ideas before building them. That way I can spot what works, what confuses people and what needs to change before writing code.

I prepare the files, document the decisions and review the implementation. Because I also write code, I can look after the step from the designed interface to the real product.
