01Challenge

A bank with no product yet

Galo was starting from zero. It was a new digital bank with no product, flows or screens. The goal was clear: make online banking feel simple, trustworthy and efficient. Traditional money and crypto had to live side by side in one experience.

02UX approach

Designing around real tasks

I organized the app around what people want to do: check their balance, send and receive crypto, review transactions, use the digital card and track cashback. The bottom bar keeps key features one tap away. I used familiar patterns and a clear hierarchy so nothing pulls focus.

03UI design

An interface drawn from the brand

I started from the client’s brand: white backgrounds, sharp reds and strong type. I prioritized clear data and components that adapt to any screen. The icons share one consistent style. Animated cards and real-time asset tracking add small moments of delight without getting in the way.

04Design system

A system to keep building on

Alongside the interface, I built a system of tokens, grids and components made to grow. I documented the color logic, type scales, icon behavior and motion principles. That left a foundation for the team to keep building consistently.
